We just checked in to a beachfront bungalow in Bali and we finally have a little WiFi connection, so I figured I would check in. I’ve stared at this screen a few times trying to figure out what to write about that isn’t travel related, but that’s basically my whole life at this point.

I figured I would jump onboard for this awesome link up and use some prompts to kick start my typing. So, here are some updates.

I’m currently…

Picking our next few destinations which is the most fun. We know for sure we are heading to Singapore and Vietnam and then Australia in a few months, but we have a few open weeks to fill up. I think we’ve found our winners, but we haven’t locked anything in yet.

Going as many places as possible on a motorbike. Driving one in the busier cities here looks like a nightmare, but we are out away from the majority of the population and it’s tons of fun. We are definitely seeing more than if we were walking – plus it’s a lot less sweaty.

Wishing that I could adopt and care for every single dog that I see. There is quite a stray dog problem on this island. It is heartbreaking. We have given our support to a local organization that helps do vaccinations and makes sure dogs are fed as much as possible, plus they do a ton of education and outreach to the people here to help them adopt these pups. If you are looking for a new cause to support, check them out.

Wearing the same clothes over and over again and I love it. I thought I would get sick of the same things, but it makes my life insanely simple. The only struggle is that we had to pack for hot weather and cooler weather, so there are a few things that are just taking up space while we are in SE Asia, but we can’t part with them before heading to Australia.

Celebrating being 2 months on the road. We recapped it on our travel blog here. There are moments where it feels like we’ve been doing this forever and then other times that I can’t believe it’s already been a few months. Summer is always one of my favorite times with friends and family, so I’m sure there will be moments where the FOMO sets in. But I am so grateful to be on this amazing adventure and we have a lot of the world to learn about and explore.

So tell me something new with you.
