A whole month sleeping in my bed every night. I think I’ve had another month like that this year, but I can’t remember. We purposely kept the month unscheduled and quiet after a few months of nonstop travel and fun.  I love having adventures planned as often as possible (I’m counting down the days to our family trip in December) but I’m loving the month of quiet time. It’s amazing how much I can get done in a month with some time at home.

My November Accomplishments

Christmas cards were ordered, addressed and mailed (dropped them off this AM.)

Thanksgiving was a success (except my Butternut Squash which no one ate.)

I got to babysit my 2 month old nephew.

Spent an entire Sunday watching Christmas movies on Netflix.

Booked two trips for early 2019.

Organized and sorted through our Summer clothes and donated tons of stuff.

Read 3 books.

Introduced one new person to Beautycounter in my life.

Voted for some amazing people.

Spent some quality time with parents.

Ate a ton of vegan food because our favorite food truck goes into hibernation for the winter and we needed to get our fill.

Wrote my first letter to help someone working towards citizenship.

Drank fancy champagne and ate pizza rolls to celebrate the birthday of a good friend. #classy

Finally discovered Midtown Global Market which has the most amazing food and is on our way home from the office. We went multiple times in November and I’m not mad about it.

Lost a whole two pounds.

Attended a benefit for Ace in the City and learned about the amazing work they do for the kids in Minneapolis.

Hosted a little brunch for some friends with this crockpot dish and this fruit salad. Highly recommend this combo plus mimosas and coffee.

Tried 2 new breweries and a few new restaurants.

Dined with some friends and family that we hadn’t caught up with in a while.

Slept an average of 7 hr and 52 minutes a night all month.

What didn’t I do?

There was not enough exercise. I didn’t organize any of the photos which was my main goal of the month, but I never felt like doing it. And I did not figure out a way to play outside even though the temps are dropping.

I went full hibernation this month in blankets and pajamas. It feels good to list out the things I accomplished, because I definitely feel like I spent more time watching TV and sitting on the couch than I have in a long time. We had lots of good quality time with our people. The family that we didn’t get to see will be joining us in sunny Florida in less than two weeks.

What was your highlight in November?
