I didn’t do the best on my summer list, so I’m determined to keep this list in mind when I’m thinking of things to do each weekend.  Plus, there is a chance that this could be our only fall where we live, so I want to take advantage of it.

1.  Leaf Peeping in Vermont & New Hampshire.  This will be easy because we are leaving town today to head up there for vacation.

2.  Visit the coast of Maine.  OK, this is also cheating because we are heading there this week too.

3.  Apple picking.

4.  Oktoberfest at Bear Mountain.

5.  Attempt to recreate Tater Tot Hotdish without meat.  This was a favorite of mine growing up in Minnesota and I think I can make it awesome without the hamburger meat.

6.  See Aladdin on Broadway with Jen before she moves away.

7.  Watch Hocus Pocus because it’s the best. (I think this makes me a basic bitch, but I love it.)

8.  Read 9 books.  I better get going, but I really want to reach my goal of 26 books this year.

9.  Spend a day at the Museum.

10.  See at least one concert.

11.  Plan a holiday visit home.

12.  Sign up for a fun run.  It’s been a while since I moved more than 4 MPH and it’s on my NYC bucket list.

13.  Try at least one new microbrewery.

14.  Find a new brunch spot in the city.  Cafe Ronda is still great, but it has changed the Baked Eggs that I love so many times that I’m ready to find another favorite.

15.  Finish Blogtober.  I’m even prepping posts for this week because I’m on vacation.  I’ve never been so organized.
