There are so many things that happen around me every single day that I just can’t seem to understand. Can anyone help explain?
Sponsored blog posts when everyone is doing it. How do those companies make any money? I’m clearly going to skip over the posts if I’ve already got suckered into one. I get making a little cash from your blog, but when the company has 50 bloggers post about their product, it’s a little overkill. (This one was inspired by you, Carly.)

Spray tans – sorry, I just don’t get it. I look weird when I’m any color other than pale and it seems like an expensive routine. I also don’t understand fake nails, perms and eyebrow waxing. I would love to look like a Hollywood star, but I’ve come to terms that it’s never going to happen, so I refuse to spend too much money & time looking great. It’s exhausting to try and maintain and keep up (plus, the picture below would pretty much sum up my experience.)

The Hobbit being split up into 3 movies – call me a nerd, but I love that book. As much as I love it, I refuse to spend 9 hours of my life to watch the 3 movies.
On the same note, the 3rd Hunger Games book is being made into a 2 part movie – doesn’t anyone remember the first half of that book???? It was kind of boring. Clearly, I’ll still go see it, but it’s rude that they are splitting it up.
Crocs – I’ve tried them on, not comfortable. I don’t get it. You know that you can get flip flops in every color too, right?
GCB was cancelled and I don’t know why. I watched it every week and I loved it.

Horror Movies, I refuse to pay money to watch something that is going to ruin my night of peaceful slumber.
How people can enjoy Nicolas Cage… he seriously gives me the heebie jeebies. His voice is bad, his hair is weird, his eyes are creepy.

Hahaha to Carly Rae! I honestly don't understand how people can throw SO BADLY. Mariah Carey is the all-time worst, if you haven't seen hers, google it!

Things I will not blog about: tampons. What's in my nightstand as a weird way to introduce birth control into a conversation on a blog. Um, if you get your period, use tampons if you want. If you have sex and don't want to get pregnant, use birth control. Are we clear? I don't need schooling on these things from fellow bloggers and I don't need to school others either. You CAN say no to sponsorship posts.

The third HG book seemed like an afterthought, like the publishing house wanted a trilogy. How the F are they making it into a two part movie? Greedy effers want to make more in ticket sales.

There are so many things that I just don't get. Things that make me think "how can you wake up in the morning and just think that's a good idea?" The crocs are a perfect example. I've tried them, too. Nope, not comfy. And I have the same problem with the Kardashians. It's like you can't look away.

Also…I'm right there with you on looking weird if I'm any color other than pale. We have a pool membership for this summer…and even after going a few times in 90 degree weather, still pale.
As for Crocs…a close friend just bought Camo ones. I'll let that sink in for a minute. CAMO! Ugliest things ever. And I tell him every day.

However, I do get my eyebrows waxed, simply because it's a MUST and if I didn't, I'd get reported for wildlife smuggling. (Aka toting squirrels around on my face. Cute.)

I've sadly gotten more practical with my shoes lately, but I can't see myself EVER wearing crocs. EVER.
I devoured the Hunger Games books but the third one was the weakest link so to make it two movies is just greedy.
GCB was the BEST. They always cancel the great shows. And Crocs – ugh. There's a store in Vienna I saw where they had Croc HEELS. Just no.
