Reconnecting to the Community

I've been thinking about this crazy idea to throw out there to the blog world. I have had a hard time in the last few weeks thinking of words to share with the world. The news has messed with emotions all over the place and so many awesome writers have been able to put into words the things I'm feeling. I have watched the blog world transition a bit in the last few months/years/whatever and I want more of the funny, real, inspiring posts. This is where I want your help.

So many of you reacted to the post I wrote about how blogging has changed and Erin wrote this awesome post asking the question - what has changed? We wanted to start to reconnect to those out there that still love writing and want to be part of this awesome community.

I would love to share a few of my favorite posts recently, but I also want you to do the same. I want you to share something you've read recently that you loved. Whether it was something that made you think, made you laugh, made you change your opinions.

We would love if you would take a few minutes and share something. We thought it would be so cool to have one place that we can go to read some amazing stuff and be introduced to some new people. We will be putting together the responses to this and sharing them with everyone. There really aren't any rules and you can share your own favorite post too.

I'm so excited to see what people submit and what you all think of this idea. Please share this with others that you know so we can reach out as far as possible and put together the most epic list of awesome writers. Also, you don't have to be a blogger to submit something.

  1. Nice idea girls! I have been struggling recently to both read and write.

  2. Wahoo!! Hoping for lots of awesome stuff being submitted :)

  3. Such a good idea!!! If only I still blogged....

I submit both your blogs to this list ;)

  4. You are so right. I miss the old days of blogging when it wasn't all about monetization and starting your dream business, when people just wrote.

Thanks for reading my ramblings. It makes my heart happy.
