Happy April! Today is the day of fake pregnancy announcements, Facebook posts that Trump was just joking about running for president this whole time and all kinds of other pranks. Since I’m not that creative, I’ll just tell you what I’m up to currently.

Reading one of the Sookie Steakhouse books. I bought a bunch of these a while back and I don’t want to keep them in our apartment anymore, so I’m reading them and then getting rid of them. They are quick, easy and a little cheesy. Also, I just got The Nest and I’m so excited to dive into it.

Smelling flowers and spring candles. Also, cleaning products because our apartment is in serious need of a deep clean.

Watching Grey’s Anatomy. I had given up on this show a long time ago, but we decided to give it another chance on Netflix and I’m not mad about it. However with the weather getting more and more awesome each day, I doubt that the TV will get much time in the near future.

Loving the flowers blooming everywhere. From the Tulips outside on the riverwalk to the beautiful flowering trees in the city, everything just looks gorgeous.

Planning a trip home to Minnesota in April. It’s hard on normal trips to try and see everyone we want to spend time with, but this trip will be extremely tricky because we are also getting our house ready to sell and there’s lots of work to do. I’m ready to get my hands dirty, but also looking forward to eating mashed potato pizza and a good Walleye sandwich.

Eating Girl Scout Cookies. It’s confusing that they all have different names here than they did in Minnesota, but they are still fantastic and our 4 boxes of Samoas/Caramel DeLites will be lucky to make it through the weekend.

Packing for Houston next week for a work trip. This will be my very first time in Texas, however I don’t think I’ll really have any time to do anything other than work.

Excited about Smorgasburg this weekend and I’m hopeful that my favorite vendor that makes pancake wraps is back there again this year.

Wearing my mint green pants again. They just don’t seem appropriate in the cold weather. They are also the only pastel colored item I own.

So what about you? What are you doing currently? Which girl scout cookies are your favorite?
