I Need a Donut

First of all, I have to say thank you for the comments on yesterday's post.  I spent last night talking on the phone for hours with some of my favorite people from home and even though I stayed up too late, it made me feel so much better.

It felt good to get that off my chest and out on paper yesterday.  Today, I'm going to do a little bit more today and link up with Kathy since I've been wanting to do that for a while.  Here are some more confessions:

I am overdoing it a little with the online shopping.  Our doorman totally thinks my apartment looks like something out of hoarders, but I also get a lot of work stuff shipped here because it's safe and secure.  Between my Stitch Fix, my wine subscriptions, IWYP shirts, my husband's shaving subscription and becoming an Amazon Prime member, I never really have to go anywhere.  I've debated having my groceries delivered.  I need the weather to warm up so I'm less lazy.

I would never have stuck with this 10k training if it wasn't for my daily text messages from Samantha.  I'm telling you that having a partner works and I will be anyone's accountability partner any day.

I finally put lipstick on for the first time yesterday and it terrified me.  I don't think I have any idea what I'm doing.  Justin was trying not to laugh at me... but it was bad.  I'm glad I didn't take a picture because then I would feel obligated to post it here.

I think I'm going to get my hair cut at Great Clips.  I miss my stylist/friend back home and I don't really want to try and find a salon here.  They do a good job, right?

I was supposed to spend last night cleaning because we have guests this weekend, but instead, I drank wine, talked to my girlfriends from home, cuddled my dogs and watched Bravo.

I have a friend that is starting a blog and it made me way too happy to send her information.  Like I actually knew something that I could share with someone else.  It was amazing.  I need to learn more stuff that I can share.

I ate peanut butter out of the jar last night.

I'm terrified of not finishing my 30 before 30 list, but I'm also not really doing anything about it.  I need to get back on track.

I'm getting angry that our Dunkin Donuts hasn't opened yet and I wish there was a way that I could find out the actual opening date.  I stare at it out my window every day.  The workers probably think I'm super creepy.  Don't care.  Just want a cake donut.

On that note, I'm going to go and pick up my latest Stitch Fix and bug the doorman to see if he has any inside info on the DD.

Leave me a comment below with a hump day confession and then come back tomorrow for a giveaway.

  1. Workout partners are the best! The feelings are totally mutual. Like I said yesterday, I rarely get this far into things like this. I mean heck, I've tried those 30 day photo challenges before and never make it past day 5 - working out for this long is a miracle! #thankyou

I'm glad you got some girl time in, even if it was over the phone! Something's definitely better than nothing!!

    Donuts. GIMME.

  2. Amazon Prime is the best thing ever. I get everything shipped to my office though because people would steal from my stoop. I'm sure my work mailroom hates me.

  3. Amazon Prime has cut down my trips to Target. Winning.

I would totally be stalking that DD for the opening.

What is your problem with lipstick? Like why do you think you're doing it wrong? Text me a pic. I can help.

I don't trust a place called Great Clips. Do you want me to ask my friend to see if she knows a salon in the city?

  4. I'm so jealous of you right now because I want my neighbors to think I'm a hoarder. Lol I LOVE getting stuff in the mail. When I was pregnant, I ordered so much online and everytime the doorbell rang it felt like Christmas!

I'd be watching out the window for DD also.

    Hmmmmm...let's see...confession?
I'm getting really lazy at shaving my legs during the winter which in turn makes my skin super dry and itchy. lol TMI?

Oh and I soooooo want to see a lipstick picture. I hated lipstick on me until last year and now I love it.
    Let's see it! :)

  7. I try to stay away from online shopping for the sake of my bank account. There's just too much stuff to want out there!
