Merry Christmas!  I am spending the day with Justin and the two pups watching movies, catching up with relatives via FaceTime and eating a ridiculous amount of candy.

Here is a brief look at the things I was grateful for this week of Christmas:

Our memories of a good friend live on 5 years after his last day fighting cancer.  He continues to be an inspiration to us and we miss him every day, but we are so grateful that he was a part of our lives.

On a much lighter note, the weather… so amazing.  It hit 70 degrees on Saturday & Sunday.  This last week has been beyond crazy and beautiful out.

After a few hours worth of delays (thanks to the woman that thought it was OK to bring a propane tank to the airport), my parents arrived with cookies and treats from home.

Saturday was spent roaming the city in the sunshine.  We wandered through the city stopping for cocktails every once in a while.  The fancy pink drink my mom had was the Lady Liberty… when in NYC.

Again, I’m grateful for all the beautiful decorations throughout New York City.  Sunday, we spent another beautiful day exploring uptown and then heading to Brooklyn for a little pub tour of Williamsburg.

Monday night, we visited our old neighbors in downtown and enjoyed their beautiful view of the city while sipping champagne and reminiscing.  Lots of laughs were had while sitting next to this beautiful blue tree.  I’m so grateful that it worked out to spend the evening with them.

And last but not least, a Christmas eve surprise for my parents when we delivered them back to JFK last night.  We stopped at this house and enjoyed the beautiful Christmas lights.  More on this house later (because one picture does not even help you understand what we were looking at.)

Hope you are all enjoying family, friends, fun, champagne, eggnog, chocolate, fires, movies or whatever else your Christmas traditions normally include.  Also, if you use the code hohoho before the end of the week, you will receive 50% off the already cheap sponsor options.  MUCH LOVE TO ALL.
