Only 3 weeks of gratitude left until I am done with one full year.  I love that my Instagram feed has been one Christmas picture after another.  EEEEEEEK.  My parents get here in less than 2 weeks.  So excited!!!  I can barely contain myself.

Oh hello Radio City.  Best way to kick off our Christmas season (besides the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade) was seeing the Rockettes (pun intended.)  Checked one off the NYC list.

Christmas cards are going out little by little.  My hand gets cramped if I try and address too many at one time.  They weren’t really funny or clever this year, but it’s mail and people love mail.  I love mail.

Friday was a foggy, rainy day.  Once work was done, we picked up the final pieces of furniture for the apartment and went to bed early after FaceTime with Mom & Dad G.

FaceTime and technology are the greatest things ever.  We had a full double date on Saturday with Brent & Kirsten.  It was amazing and hilarious and well… we needed that.  We miss our friends soooo much, so getting to see them through the iPad was fantastic.

Sunday turned into a fun day quickly when we met up with one of Justin’s oldest friends that lives in Astoria.  We caught a glimpse of this beautiful tree on our way to meet him and our night ended with a snowball fight on a sidewalk in Queens.  It was a good night and we were happy to welcome a little snow.

Monday was a big day for me.  As I stood with the dogs in the dog park out front, I felt at home for the first time.  I’ll talk more about this as I sort out the feelings a little bit, but what I do know is that I miss Minnesota, but I feel right here right now.  I am extremely grateful for that feeling of comfort.

Last but not least, I saw LET IT SNOW.  Happy Hump Day.
