Life is just happening and it’s crazy and wonderful.  We got back from vacation… it will take weeks to get back into our normal routine.  I’m a little bit of a freak about routine normally, but when life is happening – who has time to realize how crazy you are – you just have to be.

I love that picture because it looks just like Lola, but also because that’s how I feel right now.  Things are crazy and we don’t stop moving, but we have been having one hell of a time just keeping up.  Hopefully, if you see me fly by you in the next few weeks, that will be what the smile on my face looks like.

Here I sit in a hotel room in Milwaukee, WI.  I was home just a few days before packing up and leaving again for work.  Instead of putting together anything with real substance, I’m going to word vomit random stuff all over this page.  You’ve been warned (but there’s cute puppy photos, so stay with me.)

When I stopped eating meat, the only sadness I felt was for my crockpots.  I registered for three when I got married.  I’ve cooked easter ham, Christmas morning brunch and many, many stews and soups in those crockpots.  What would I use them for if I wasn’t cooking meat anymore?  Enter the best vegetarian chili anyone has ever eaten.  Grandma’s Slow Cooker Vegetarian Chili Recipe.  I didn’t take a picture once it was done because #1 I’m not a food blogger and I wouldn’t even know where to start and #2 it was eaten quickly.  I love football, Sundays and crockpots.

My first week ever playing fantasy football and that is what happens.  I have to admit – I was thoroughly entertained all day long watching and hoping.  Jason Witten got a ridiculous amount of points for a tight end, but in the end, there was no way I was going to beat Peyton Manning.  I feel like a pretty good loser though.  The Vikings lost, my fantasy team lost, but so did the Packers… sorry, I’m not sorry.  I was expecting the first two.
The comfort of my dog is just getting to a whole new level.  This was 3 different naps he took.  He would get up, run around, play a little, eat a little and nap again.  I can’t even handle it.
I got this picture this morning of my 3 nieces.  Kennedy (the one in the middle) was helping bring the others to their first day of preschool.  I can’t believe how quickly they are growing up.  I can’t believe I will have a new little nephew in less than 2 months.  I love being an auntie.
Last, but not least, meet Marge.  She is a puppy that my friend Louise just got and I got to meet her on Saturday evening.  I am just in love love love.

Even though life is crazy, I’m been sticking with my daily gratitude.  Come link up tomorrow and tell me what you’ve been grateful for in your crazy life lately.  Thanks for letting me just type and not really care if it makes any sense.  Puppy pictures are too wonderful to keep to myself.
