Good morning Friday.  I’m not as excited about you this week as most weeks because it’s my weekend to work. Don’t mind my random ramblings, sometimes it’s necessary and I’m glad that Heather (one of my favorite people) gives me an outlet to ramble with her Friday link up.

fiery and opinionated

Working Saturdays isn’t all that bad.  I get to wear sweatpants, no traffic, the office is quiet and I’m done by 3:30.  But really, it just stinks.  I’d much rather be reading a book at home, cleaning or brunching.
I’m going to the Package tour this weekend with a bunch of girlfriends.  Not going to lie, I’m pretty excited.  I was never lucky enough as a teenager to see New Kids on the Block and I hope they are just as cheesy and ridiculous as they were when I had their sleeping bag & pillow case.  Also, I’m not ashamed to admit that Donnie has always been my favorite.

Netflix is my best friend, but can also be a HUGE time sucker for me.  Yesterday afternoon, my plan was to clean up around the house a little bit, organize some things at home, work out and then make dinner before Justin got home.  I decided to turn the TV on in the background and started watching Revenge.  This was a show that I saw the commercials for and was not interested in watching.  Well, it started and I sat on the couch for SIX episodes.  Real productive.  The dogs were happy to have some serious cuddle time on the couch.
I have been a Pescatarian for about 15 months (read more here).  I don’t eat fish very often.  It’s more of my go-to at restaurants when they don’t have great vegetarian options.  It’s a little bit of an internal struggle for me.  Do I give it up and become a full vegetarian or do I continue on the road I’m on?  Anyone else had this issue?  It just feels like I’m doing it half ass sometimes.
On a more serious note, there has been lots of negative things happening in the news this week.  The truth is that drugs kill people, people get away with things with no consequences and sometimes the media gives the wrong people the spotlight and all of it totally sucks.  I can’t do anything to change these things that have happened, but I can continue to be a positive person in my corner of the world and work towards spreading that love around a little bit.  These words from Mother Theresa have always been helpful.

Since I don’t ever like to end anything on a serious note.  I’m sharing with you some NKOTB backthatazzup goodness.  One old, one new – no grooveshark this time, the videos are WAY better.  You better believe that I will be a dancing machine on Saturday night as I take it all the cheesiness that is the “package” tour.
