America the Beautiful

I always find myself getting a little emotional on the Fourth of July as we celebrate freedom and the United States of America.  I'm lucky enough to have seen a lot of this beautiful country and I've lived my whole life here.  We have many friends and family members who have fought for our freedom.  Make sure to take some time today to acknowledge and thank them.

Then turn up your Miley Cyrus (or Lee Greenwood if you're not in the mood for a dance party) and party like it's your 237th birthday.  Happy 4th of July!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here are a few of my favorite posts this week about the 4th of July:
Quincy wishes you a Happy 4th of July.  He'll be spending it in the closet hiding from the loud noises outside.

  1. Hi! I'm a new follower - Happy 4th to you! :)

I have a miniature schnauzer who will be doing the same!

  2. Beautiful photos!!!! :) Happy 4th of July!

  3. Can't lie - I got major goosebumps from Ray Charles and the montage of America.

Happy 4th to you and happy birthday to America - wooo!!

  4. I hope you had a great 4th! Your photos are gorgeous, are they all yours? :)
    Your pup is darling.

  5. LOVE all your pictures and Quincy in his finest! :) (I was basically hiding out with him...not a fan of getting too close to loud fireworks or fire, haha)!

  6. Patriotic things get me everytime but I'm still better than mum. I can smile instead of crying with cheer on these days.

Thanks for reading my ramblings. It makes my heart happy.
