Weekend in Chi-Town

As we roll into our busy season at work, J and I decided to take a long weekend to Chicago before things get super crazy.  Since I haven't had any time to write about anything recently and our plane got in super late last night, here is our weekend in photos.  I'll update some things tonight and I'll be able to elaborate more on the battle of deep dish pizza and WRIGLEY freaking FIELD.  Until then, here are the random pictures that are making me smile.

1) The Church near our hotel on Michigan 2) Wrigley Field during our tour - I love the way an empty ballpark looks sometimes 3) John Hancock Building 4) Me + Beer + Wrigley  5) My attempt to hydrate - too little, too late 6) Fireball shots - after I gave up on hydrating 7) Cheesies - more to come on this but I owe this lady a huge thank you on some awesome recommendations

1) Yes, those are storm troopers getting on a bus in Chicago 2) The beautiful view from the Hancock Tower 3) One of my favorite Chicago residents 4) A beautiful sunset before heading back to the cold land I call home 5) Justin at the Bean with his hot cocoa  6) the Lincoln Park conservatory

Hope you all had a great weekend.  I also hope this one cup of coffee lasts me until I can curl up on my couch and catch up on my DVR after work.  Cheers to Monday.

  3. Ahh, this made me excited for our (tentatively scheduled) weekend in Chicago this fall! Did you guys stay pretty close to a lot of things?

Those storm troopers are hilarious. There is an orange storm trooper that comes to all the Bengals games :)

  5. The storm troopers shot is awesome.

I love Chicago. My BFF is there as we speak, it's her first time.

    I love empty ballparks too.
