I’m going to try something new this week for my insta-gratitude.  A collage!!!  I’m way too excited about that, but I’m more excited about a weekend in Chicago.  I have some great recommendations on some places to eat and I’m super excited to see Wrigley Field in person more than once this weekend.  Must get through today.
Anyways, here is the recap of the things that made me extra grateful last week.
1.  Grandma & Grandpa G being in town to celebrate Grandma Margie’s 80th birthday.  2.  Spring flowers left over from Easter that still look beautiful even though there is snow on the ground.  3.  The cathedral – my favorite building in St. Paul.  4.  Time spent playing on the new laptop with Lola.  5.  The things I need to do taxes – new laptop, turbo tax and a fantastic new strawberry cider as a celebration drink when it’s over.  6.  My treats to myself this weekend.  7.  Adult drinking games on Saturday night.
I was so annoyed about snow all week.  I honestly apologize if you follow me on twitter and you live somewhere nice and warm because I was probably ruining your vibe.  Surprisingly, when I woke up this morning, I spent a few minutes remembering how pretty it is when it snows with really heavy flakes and they “flock” all of the trees.  OK, now I’m over it.  It needs to melt again and NOT snow tonight 6 inches like the weather people are predicting.
