Because I Need Warm Weather

It is 18 degrees out on April 2nd.  Yesterday was our coldest home opener for the MN Twins ever.  I get it Mama Nature - you think you're April Fool's joke was hilarious.  Can it please be over?

I decided to make myself feel better last night by watching the RHOBH reunion because they live somewhere warm and making this low budget video of our FL trip complete with the fireworks at Disney.

I'll watch it a few times today to remind me of what sunshine feels like.  Also, I'm pretending that it's a vlog  (video blog - in case my husband is wondering) so I can join in with the growing trend.  Ha.

I'm super excited that we have a long weekend trip planned in 9 days to Chicago.  I'm excited for Wrigley Field, deep dish pizza (any suggestions?), Navy Pier and our first picture together at the "bean."  We have nothing planned other than baseball, so I'm excited to just wander around.  It better be warmer next week in Chi-town than it is this morning in Minneapolis.

I'll just read some travel blogs today and pretend my next trip is a tropical island somewhere.  Click the link below to get to the full list on Helene's blog.  Happy Tuesday.

  1. Maybe you should lay a beach towel on the living room floor and lay out in your bathing suit. just jack the heat up in your house. :)

  2. Found your blog through the link up :)

I`m so jealous that you are headed to Chicago- I have never been, and I want to go and eat the deep-dish pizza so bad. Well I have been to the airport, but that doesn`t count haha. Although I think I did have pizza while I was there. Can`t wait to see the pictures :)

I've been to Gino's East and really liked their deep dish, but be prepared to wait...it takes like 45 minutes to bake!
