Broken Windows & Dueling Pianos

Currently watching Seinfeld (best show EVER)
New movies I've seen: BORAT and Stranger Than Fiction
Neither one impressed me that much.   Will Farrell getting it on with girls is weird to watch.   Borat was funny, but I wish I had not seen the 300 pound short man's testicles and hairy ass. Seriously.

In the last week, a lot of really exciting things have happened.  Last Thursday, we had girlfriend thanksgiving and it was phenomenal.  We had scalloped corn, green bean casserole  vegetarian stuffing, cheesy potatoes, pumpkin bars, cheesy biscuits (like the ones from red lobster), garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli salad. The food was amazing.  We ended up making a video Christmas card of all six of us on the couch singing "All I Want for Christmas is You" by Mariah Carey.  It was possibly the cheesiest thing I've ever done.

After a few rounds of Karaoke Revolution and a power hour, we decided it would be a great idea to go out to 21 north and take some shots and dance for a while.  When we got back to Mary's barn house, she realized she did not have her keys.  We were pretty drunk at this point so a few people went around to the back door to see if that was open.  I was standing alone at the front door when I remembered that Justin and I had broken into Mary's house before using a credit card.  As I was opening the door and trying to yell to the others that I had gotten in, I saw an elbow come through the window on the side of the house.  Mary had busted out the window while I was standing in the living room.  We stayed up for a while yelling, screaming and eating leftovers.  All the food was gone and I passed out on the living room floor.

Friday night, we went and saw Borat followed by a nice dinner at Blackwood's and then a few games of darts at the Pioneer Bar.  The weirdest thing happened there.  We were just finishing up our beers when a fifteen piece band walked into the small dive bar wearing clown costumes or dressed up in some kind of odd Christmas outfits.  They played at least four songs very very loudly. we were trapped. Literally, trapped in a dive bar by a fifteen piece clown band.

Saturday was a bit more entertaining. we started off with dinner and margaritas at green mill.  We then went to the same dive bar as Friday night (no clown musicians).  We played some darts and had a few beers and then headed off to the Tap Room.  We paid the $8 cover not knowing what to expect.  We sat down at a table in front of a stage and a few pitchers of beers when the dueling pianos guys took the stage.  They were absolutely hilarious.  My boyfriend ended up on stage in his underwear while my lovely friend, Mary, was taking off her bra and letting strange guys motorboat her.  All part of the show. We had an absolute blast.

I had a wonderful weekend. I'm super excited about Thanksgiving.  We'll be at my grandma's house this year and I'm going to make my scalloped corn. I'll finally be able to prove to my family that I can cook. even though the recipe is SUPER easy.  I wish you all a happy holiday.
